The Battle Pass offers dozens of rewards, but to unlock them, players need to earn XP and level up their accounts. This guide provides all the key details about the end of Chapter 6 Season 1 and what to expect from the launch of the next season.

When Does Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1 End?

To fully complete the standard Battle Pass, players need to reach level 100. However, leveling up beyond that unlocks Bonus Rewards, giving gamers a reason to continue playing even after hitting the milestone.

Chapter 6 Season 1 will officially end on Friday, February 21, at 2 AM ET. At this time, servers will go offline for scheduled maintenance ahead of the new season. Matchmaking will be disabled 30 minutes earlier, so players must start their final match by 1:30 AM ET if they want to squeeze in one last game before the season ends.

When Does Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 2 Start?

Epic Games has confirmed that Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 2, titled "Fortnite Lawless," will launch on Friday, February 21—the same day the previous season ends. Once the servers are back online, players will be able to dive into the new season and explore everything it has to offer.

Major updates like this typically require 3 to 5 hours of downtime, meaning players can expect Fortnite Lawless to go live between 5 and 7 AM ET.

Stay tuned for more updates as we approach the next exciting chapter of Fortnite!
