Recent Leak Revealed New Features Confirmed to Appear In EA Sports FC 27
Less than 24 hours remain until the official reveal of EA Sports FC 27—the latest entry in the football sim series. Over the past week, the first details have already surfaced, both officially from Electronic Arts and through various leaks, and the latest one comes from an insider who reveals what new features players should expect—and on paper, it sounds pretty impressive.
According to Turkish gaming insider konsolum, EA Sports FC 27 will bring new features while also reviving a few that were present in earlier titles but missing from recent ones. He refers to a friend—also an esports player—who attended a closed-door EA Sports FC 26 event in Paris. The insider claimed Pro Clubs mode is getting significant changes, though he didn't specify what exactly. He also mentioned five new skills, expanded controller settings, and the return of moving players freely around the field during tactical setups to pick the best position—a feature missing from recent titles that frustrated a lot of players. Finally, konsolum stated EA Sports FC 27 will introduce a new shooting mechanic similar to "green-timed finishing," but with some changes. There is also a new tactic called "Stop," known in football terms as "parking the bus," and the Ultimate Team Transfer Market is reportedly getting AI-powered recommendations for buying and selling players.
FC 27 NEW FEATURES COMING:
NEW SHOOTING MECHANIC (SIMILAR TO GREEN FINISING BUT AS PLAYSTYLE)
HUGE PRO CLUBS UPGRADE
5 NEW SKILL MOVES
NEW TACTICAL FEATURES: (Adjust Players Positions on the Pitch easier)
AI SUPPORT IN TRANSFER MARKET (PRICE SUGGESTION, LIKE RECENT SALES)
Electronic Arts also recently revealed the cover art for the game’s Standard Edition, which seems to confirm the long-rumored open-world mode. Players spotted "The Grounds" logo—which is reportedly the mode's title—along with other details, like areas modeled after real-world cities, stadiums, and landmarks.
It was also unveiled that EA Sports FC 27 will have a PEGI 16 rating instead of the usual PEGI 3, and players have pieced together a clearer picture of the game's three editions—Standard, Ultimate, and Ultimate+ —and what benefits each one includes.
At the same time, last week, insider billbil-kun shared that EA Sports FC 27 is set for release on September 25, 2026, on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Switch, and Switch 2. The official reveal is confirmed for July 23.
