Bastian Schweinsteiger Makes eFootball Debut in New Epic National Stars Pack

Konami has addedBastian Schweinsteiger to eFootball for the first time, introducing the former Germany captain as an Epic player in the new National Stars 2010 pack. The card becomes available on July 13, 2026, and will remain in the game for seven days as part of the ongoing Football Festival Campaign.

Schweinsteiger headlines the latest 150-player pack alongside Luis Suárez and Giovanni van Bronckhorst. Each draw costs 100 eFootball Coins, with players having one week to obtain the new Epic card.

The former Bayern Munich midfielder is introduced as a Box-to-Box Defensive Midfielder (DMF) with a maximum overall rating of 106 under a 90-rated manager. His profile emphasizes passing, defensive ability, and all-around midfield play rather than pace, making him well-suited for double-pivot formations.

The card also features two rare skills—Long Reach Tackle and Phenomenal Pass—while additional skills such as Man Marking, Acrobatic Clearance, Fighting Spirit, and Long-Range Shooting can further improve its versatility.

Although Schweinsteiger may not fit every high-speed meta lineup, the card is expected to appeal to Germany, Bayern Munich, and Epic card collectors, as well as players building themed squads for PvP events.
