How to Complete the FC 26 Bar Down Brilliance Objective Quickly

EA Sports has launched the Europe chapter of The Journey of Nations in EA Sports FC 26, bringing players one step closer to unlocking Gerd Müller's 95 OVR card and the campaign's final reward — a 97 OVR Diego Maradona. One of the required tasks, Bar Down Brilliance, has proven to be one of the trickiest objectives despite its simple description.

The challenge is part of the Germany + France objectives and requires players to score off the woodwork using a French or German footballer in any Ultimate Team mode. Completing it also rewards an 85+ Rare Gold Player Pack, though most players are focused on progressing toward Maradona.

Instead of grinding Squad Battles or Division Rivals, players can complete the objective much faster in Online Friendlies. Since the challenge counts in any FUT mode, teaming up with a friend makes the requirement significantly easier to finish.

The simplest method is to start an Online Friendlies match, win a penalty, and deliberately aim for the post or crossbar before scoring. Using Icons or high-rated players with strong penalty attributes can improve consistency, although the objective may still require several attempts due to the precise timing needed.

With the Europe chapter now available, completing all five national objectives will unlock 97 OVR Diego Maradona, marking the final reward in The Journey of Nations event.
