The October 2025 update for eFootball 2026 has arrived, bringing with it exciting new features designed to shake up the game’s tactical options and card roster. Following scheduled maintenance, players can now explore a brand-new Link-Up playstyle, a fresh Manager pack featuring Frank Rijkaard, and a lineup of Epic and Show Time cards that add even more variety to the pitch.

New Link-Up Playstyle: Over-the-Top Pass B

The headline addition is the Over-the-Top Pass B playstyle, introduced with the latest update. Similar to Over-the-Top Pass A, this variation allows the Key Man to push aggressively forward whenever the Centrepiece controls the ball in the defensive half. The style improves the accuracy of passes, chipped balls, and trapping, making it perfect for fast-paced attacking football and long-ball strategies.

In this system, the Centrepiece plays as an Orchestrator CMF, while the Key Man can slot in as a Prolific Winger at either LWF or RWF positions—offering greater flexibility in setting up an attack.

New Manager: Frank Rijkaard

The update also introduces legendary Dutch midfielder Frank Rijkaard as a new Manager. Available for 750 coins, Rijkaard utilizes the Over-the-Top Pass B style, boasting high proficiency in both Quick Counter and Out Wide tactics (rated at 89). He also provides a +1 boost to Tight Possession and Balance, making him a strong strategic addition to any squad.

Epic and Show Time Cards

As always, new player cards headline the content drop. This update features a mix of Epic and Show Time stars, including iconic names such as Ronaldinho Gaúcho and Mark van Bommel.
