The company has stated that they are "committed to providing a safe and fair experience for players" and they will strive to do so with a brand new anti-cheat known as EA AntiCheat (EAAC).

Reddit user George Kuz spoke about the new anti-cheat system, revealing the features of its work.

EAAC is EA's "lightweight kernel virus protection solution" that the developers claim was "created by security engineers". Anti-cheat is automatically activated as soon as players launch FIFA 23 and automatically closes when FIFA 23 is shut down.

The goal of the EAAC is to "protect the vast majority of players" from scammers. The anti-cheat aims to crack down on those who want to "engage in behavior that violates the Terms of Service (TOS) and negatively impact the gameplay experience for everyone else."

In addition, Electronic Arts explains that with the expansion of cross-platform capabilities, it also aims to protect console players from cheaters on PC. The developers also confirmed that the inclusion of the new anti-cheat does not mean that FIFA 23 will require a constant Internet connection.

FIFA 23 will be released on September 30, 2022 on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Series X {{S. Earlier, Electronic Arts published new details about the game, which you can find in our previous material.
