Juventus returns to FIFA
Electronic Arts has announced the resumption of exclusive cooperation with the Italian football club Juventus. The Turin club will return to the legendary series with the release of FIFA 23. Former Juventus player Claudio Marchisio will be added to FIFA 23 as a FUT Hero, while the club's current striker, Dusan Vlahovic, will become the game's ambassador.
The exclusive partnership is said to run for several years. This means that in the new part of the popular football simulator "Old Lady" will return its real name, uniform and corporate logo, as well as the club's home stadium - "Allianz Stadium".
While Juventus will be available again in FIFA, several other Italian clubs remain out of reach.Napoli, Lazio, Roma and Atalanta still have exclusive contracts with Konami, which now runs eFootball, while Inter are set to join the rival from 2024.
It is noteworthy that FIFA 23 will be the last game in the series to be published under the wing of the FIFA organization. Earlier, the parties confirmed the end of cooperation, and in the future, Electronic Arts will release football games under the name EA Sports FC. However, Gianni Infantino, president of the FIFA organization, said that the international football federation will release its own simulator.
FIFA 23 is due out September 30, 2022 on PC, Stadia, PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One and Series X/S.
