Rumors: Sentinels will return to Apex Legends and sign Spacestation Gaming roster
According to the portal Esports.gg, the North American esports organization Sentinels will return to the Apex Legends discipline and sign the Spacestation Gaming roster. Recall that a few days ago the club parted ways with its former team due to poor results.
According to sources, the Spacestation Gaming organization intends to leave the scene even before the start of the Apex Legends Global Series: Split 1 Playoffs, joining the G2 Esports, Cloud9 and Team Liquid clubs that have left the discipline. These rumors once again confirm the precarious position of the scene, which continues to lose status due to disagreements between developers and organizations.
The Spacestation Gaming roster was formed in March 2021. During this time, the North American team became the winner of GLL Community Cups #56 - North America, Nerd Street Gamers: Summer Championship - Monthly July, Box Fight Championship - Apex Cup #5, Box Fight Championship - Pro Series Season 1: Playoffs, Oversight - Season 1 Split 1: Week #1, Code Red: National Guard - Qualifier 2 and SoulZ Season #4, and also made it to the top three at JBL Quantum Cup 2021, Code Red: National Guard, Nerd Street Gamers - Summer Championship and JBL Quantum Cup 2022 - North America.
The deal is expected to take place before the start of the Apex Legends Global Series: Split 1 Playoffs, where Spacestation Gaming got it thanks to the ninth place in the Apex Legends Global Series 2022-23: Split 1 Pro League - North America. At the same time, it is not known whether Dropped will remain in the Sentinels, since the 23-year-old American wants to sign a contract with OpTic Gaming.
Probably, Dropped will finish the upcoming championship with his teammates, but after that he will go to another team.
Apex Legends Global Series: Split 1 Playoffs will take place from February 2 to 5 in London at the Copper Box Arena.
Estimated Apex Legends Sentinels roster:
- Xenial
- frexes
- Dropped
