ONE Esports expands agreement with the LCK tournament series
Esports media platform ONE Esports, part of the sports media company ONE Championship, has announced the expansion of its existing partnership with the LCK series in the League of Legends discipline. As a result, the company will remain the main media partner of the tournament series in 2023.
The parties will continue to create and distribute content under the LCK during the 2023 season. This is the first news from the LCK, since the European LEC series was previously shown in the partner field.
ONE Esports will reportedly manage the production of localized language reports for the LCK, including short videos and written reports. All content will be distributed through company-owned channels, including the news portal.
The platform is also currently partnering with Samsung Corporation, McDonald's fast food restaurant chain, and HSBC, an international banking and financial company.
Note that the new season of the series started last week. LCK Spring 2023 will be held from January 18 to March 19 in Seoul at LoL PARK. Ten teams take part in the championship: BRION, Dplus, DRX, Freecs, Gen.G Esports, Hanwha Life Esports, KT Rolster, Nongshim RedForce, SANDBOX Gaming and T1.
LG's UltraGear brand recently partnered with the LEC series once again, with an agreement for the entire year of 2023. Riot Games also announced a partnership with poster maker Displate and extended its deal with KIA.
