BLAST Powers Up Esports Arena: Epic Games Partnership to Elevate FNCS and RLCS Tournaments from 2024
Tournament organizer BLAST has inked a comprehensive multi-year collaboration with Epic Games. Starting in 2024, BLAST will oversee the execution of tournaments for the Fortnite Championship Series (FNCS) and Rocket League Championship Series (RLCS).
The responsibilities of BLAST include managing the competitions' logistics, overseeing production and marketing efforts, and handling the distribution of broadcasting rights for the tournaments.
This deal marks a significant expansion of the existing relationship between BLAST and Epic Games. Notably, BLAST has previously orchestrated several Fortnite competitions, such as the FNCS Global Championship 2023, which boasted a prize pool of $4 million.
