Apex Legends Global Series: Split 1 Playoffs Organizers Revealed Group Stage Seeds

Respawn Entertainment has revealed the results of the Apex Legends Global Series: Split 1 Playoffs group stage draw. As a result, all 40 participants were divided into four groups, where they will fight for further performances in the tournament. The announcement included a wealth of information about the broadcast schedule, broadcaster talent, and prizes teams could win, as well as a list of competing teams and their groups.

Apex Legends Global Series: Split 1 Playoffs will begin on Thursday, February 2nd. The group stage of 40 teams will take place on the first two days of the competition. In the group stage, the teams will be divided into four groups of ten teams, and each group will play one series of six matches against every other group.

After the group stage, each team will be assigned a starting position in the double elimination bracket based on their performance in the group stage. The Bracket will take place on Saturday, February 4th.

Finally, the top 20 teams will advance to the grand finals on match point, while the remaining participants will leave the championship. The Apex Legends Global Series: Split 1 Playoffs Grand Finals will take place on Sunday, February 5th.

Group A:

  • Aurora, XSET, Moist Esports, JLINGZ Esports, ENTER FORCE.36, GØDFIRE, LeaveNoWitness, PULVEREX, 100 Thieves and GameWard.

Group B:

  • TSM, NORTHEPTION, NorCal Esports, DEWA United Esports, Fire Beavers, Alliance, Flora esports, Oxygen Esports, Sentinels and FC Destroy.

Group C:

  • fnatic, Acend, The Guard, K1CK, NRG, ONIC Esports, EXO Clan, Pioneers, ganbare otousan and GHS Professional.

Group D:

  • Iron Blood Gaming, Team Singularity, Vexed Gaming, Crazy Raccoon, Esports Arena, Luminosity Gaming, Invictus Gaming, fun123, Element 6 and DarkZero Esports.

It is noteworthy that the organizers actually confirmed the transfer of Spacestation Gaming players to the Sentinels camp, as well as the purchase of the VZN roster by the British organization JLINGZ Esports.

Apex Legends Global Series: Split 1 Playoffs will take place from February 2 to 5 in London at the Copper Box Arena. As part of the championship, forty teams from the CIS, Europe, North America, Latin America and Asia will compete for a total prize pool of $1,000,000, as well as rating points.
