The International 2022 prize pool reaches $10,000,000
S0dIt's been a week since Valve added the Battle Pass for the upcoming The International 2022. Dota 2 fans have already begun to actively help fill the World Championship prize pool, but the chances that the Battle Pass will be able to set a new record this year are less and less. We have previously reviewed the first part of the Battle Pass.
At the moment, The International 2022 prize pool is $10,080,956. It would seem that the amount is no longer small. But the amount of prize money at The International 2019 was $11,500,000, and at The International 2021 it was $12,200,000. This makes the current Battle Pass the third largest in terms of prize money. You can read about the reasons for this phenomenon in the relevant material.
Recall that The International 2022 will be held from 15 to 30 October this year. The top 20 teams from around the world will compete for an impressive prize pool, which will be determined by the amount of prize money collected through the Battle Pass. Last year, TI 2021 champions Team Spirit earned $18,208,300.
