OG Disbands Its South American Dota 2 Roster, Plans to Rebuild
OG, the renowned European esports organization, has officially announced the disbandment of its South American Dota 2 roster, OG.LATAM. The announcement was made via the team's official social media channels.
In the statement, OG confirmed that all players are now free to pursue opportunities with other teams. However, the organization isn’t stepping away from the region entirely—the coach and manager will remain onboard to help rebuild a new competitive lineup under the OG banner.
📉 Disappointing Results Prompt a Reset
OG.LATAM’s recent performances likely played a role in the decision. The squad finished last at DreamLeague Season 26 and failed to qualify for both The International 2025 and the Riyadh Masters 2025, two of the most prestigious tournaments on the Dota 2 calendar.
🧑🤝🧑 Former OG.LATAM Lineup:
- K1
- TaiLung
- ILICH-
- Elmisho
- MoOz
- Vintage(Coach)
OG’s presence in the South American Dota 2 scene may have taken a hit, but the organization’s commitment to rebuilding signals that a new chapter is already in the works.
