Meet The MongolZ Dota 2 Roster for 2025

The lineup consists of five Mongolian players, blending regional veterans with fresh talent:

  • 🎯 Oidov “FortuneSoul” Yalguunsaran – Carry
  • 🧠 Battsengel “Osocle~” Usukh-Ireedui – Mid
  • 🛡️ Ankhtuya “Panda” Dashjamts – Offlane
  • 🌀 Narankhand “Ace12” Batbayasgalan – Soft Support
  • 🧊 Sugar “winter*” Purevkhuu – Hard Support

Two of the most recognizable names on the roster are Ace12 and FortuneSoul, boasting 13,000 and 10,000 MMR respectively.Ace12 is best known for his time with Lilgun, where he was a regular fixture in the Dota Pro Circuit. FortuneSoul, on the other hand, previously made waves in the region during his time with Neon Esports.

A Milestone for Mongolian Esports

This new roster marks a turning point for the organization. When The MongolZ debuted in Dota 2 esports in November 2024, they fielded only a single Mongolian player — a move that drew playful criticism from fans who found irony in the name.

Now, with five homegrown talents united under the same banner, the team is not only competing — they’re carrying the hopes of a nascent but passionate Mongolian Dota 2 community.

Considering Mongolia’s small Dota 2 playerbase, forming a competitive, full-national lineup is a significant achievement in itself.

Ready for Battle at the TI14 SEA Qualifiers

With the TI14 regional qualifiers fast approaching, the stakes couldn’t be higher. The MongolZ will face some of Southeast Asia’s fiercest teams — including Talon Esports, BOOM Esports, and Execration.

But for the MongolZ, this is about more than just qualifying. It’s about proving that Mongolian talent belongs on the biggest Dota 2 stage in the world. Should they succeed, they will make history as the first Mongolian team ever to compete at The International.
