The tournament will feature eight custom-built teams, each drafted live by legendary figures in the Dota 2 scene. Among the captains were Chen "Zhou" Yao, Lu "Somnus" Yao, Song "Sccc" Chun, Xu "fy" Linsen, Ding "Dy" Cong, Xie "DD" Bin, Jiang "YYF" Cen, and popular Chinese streamer Lao Chen. Each took turns picking from a pool of available players in a broadcasted draft that stirred up plenty of excitement among fans.

Dota 2 Immortal Cup Announced in China — Former Pros Return for Star-Studded Show Tournament 1

The Immortal Cup will take place from May 13 to June 15, with players competing for a 1 million yuan prize pool (around $140,000 USD). All matches will be streamed live on China’s major streaming platforms, giving fans a chance to relive the glory days of their favorite Dota legends — this time, in a more relaxed and entertaining format.
