Topson Returns to Dota 2 After 9-Month Hiatus
Topias "Topson" Taavitsainen, the two-time Dota 2 world champion, has unexpectedly returned to the game after a nine-month break.
According to data from DotaBuff, Topson has recently played 8 public matchmaking games over the past 10 days. Despite the long period of inactivity and major changes in the game’s meta, he maintained a 50% win rate—a solid performance given the high skill level of his opponents.

Speculation has begun to circulate among fans on social media, with many wondering if Topson has completed his military service and might be preparing for a return to the professional Dota 2 scene.
As of now, however, Topson has not made any official announcements regarding his future plans.
