dev1ce: "I'm really excited to be back in Astralis, a place that definitely feels like home"
dev1ce, who recently returned to Astralis, gave an extensive interview for Dexerto. In a conversation with reporters, the Danish sniper assured that he considers Astralis a real home and he is really happy to be back.
I'm really happy to be back in Astralis, a place that definitely feels like home. I already know some of the players and many of the staff working here and everyone has been very friendly to me. I had several conversations with everyone on the team about what they want from me and how I can best improve results.
The 27-year-old player did not forget to talk about the period when he had to leave the stage and not appear in public for ten months.
The process leading up to my sick leave was very difficult for me. I had several signals that the situation was getting worse, but I kind of neglected things and kept going forward. I started having little panic/anxiety attacks and had to switch off, figure out what was going on and accept that I couldn't play anymore.
I started working on myself with a therapist and have been doing this since January to improve myself, learn the tools needed to become the best version of myself and be ready to compete again. My absence also means that although I feel ready to compete, the best thing to do is to take it slower so that I don't find myself in a similar situation again.
At the end, dev1ce told what he thinks about the Ninjas in Pajamas players and the team as a whole.
Staying at Ninjas in Pajamas was a good experience, I think I had a good relationship with everyone there and they were sympathetic to my decision to take the vacation I needed. We have achieved some success together and I sincerely wish them all the best.
Recall that a few days ago, the Astralis organization announced the return of dev1ce. The 27-year-old Dane returns to his native team, from where he moved to Ninjas in Pajamas. The next championship for the Danish team will be Elisa Masters Espoo 2022, where the star player will make his debut from November 16 to 20.
