Astralis consider phzy as a replacement for dev1ce — HLTV reports
According to information from HLTV, Swedish player Love “phzy” Smidebrant may join Astralis, who are currently in the process of rebuilding their roster. He is expected to take over the AWPer role after dev1ce, who recently left Astralis.
phzy’s results
phzy has previously played for teams such as NiP, Wildcard, and 9NINE. In 2025, together with Wildcard, he won Frost and Fire Europe and finished 5–6th at BLAST Rivals Spring 2025. Although phzy has not secured major titles over the past year, he has remained a consistent performer on the tier-two scene.
Over the past year, phzy played 233 maps with an average rating of 1.15, an ADR of 77, and a KAST of 73.9%. His individual rating against top-5 teams stands at 0.94, and 1.01 against top-10 opponents. These are not the strongest numbers, but the player has shown that he is ready and capable of competing against stronger opposition.
So far, Astralis have not officially announced the signing of the young AWPer. However, if the move goes through, phzy is expected to debut with his new team at the BLAST Bounty Winter 2026: Closed Qualifier, which begins on January 13.
