The MongolZ Sign cobrazera as Senzu’s Replacement

The MongolZ have officially announced the signing of Anarbilg “cobrazera” Uuganbayar, who joins the starting lineup in place of Azbayar “Senzu” Munkhbold, benched unexpectedly back in October. The move continues the team’s roster rebuild following a historic 2025 season, when The MongolZ reached world No.1 for the first time in Asian Counter-Strike history 🌍.

A Historic Year — and a Sudden Turning Point 🏆

2025 marked a breakthrough year for The MongolZ:

  • 🥇 Champions of the Esports World Cup
  • 🏆 Finalists at the BLAST.tv Austin Major
  • 📈 Reached the top of the VRS global rankings

However, momentum slowed in the fall when 19-year-old Senzu, widely viewed as the team’s breakout star and key playmaker, was sidelined in a surprise decision.

To stabilize the roster, The MongolZ brought in Unudelger “controlez” Baasanjargal as a temporary stand-in. While he delivered solid and consistent performances, helping the team reach:

  • IEM Chengdu quarterfinals
  • Budapest Major playoffs

his impact ultimately couldn’t replicate Senzu’s explosive form ⚡.

A New Bet on Youth 🎯

The open spot is now filled by cobrazera, formerly of The Huns, where he impressed throughout 2025:

  • 📊 6.2 average rating
  • 🗺️ 207 maps played
  • 🥈 Second-best performer on his team

Interestingly, cobrazera couldn’t join earlier, as both teams qualified for the StarLadder Budapest Major, blocking any transfers at the time. With that restriction lifted, the move is now complete.
