XTQZZZ steps down as G2 Esports head coach
The European esports organization G2 Esports has announced the resignation of XTQZZZ from the post of head coach of the CS:GO roster. It is reported that the 33-year-old French specialist addressed the club's management with the corresponding decision last week. Probably, such a decision was caused by the failure of the team at the recent Intel Extreme Masters Road to Rio 2022: European RMR A.
Last week, XTQZZZ informed us of his decision to step down as head coach. Thanks to the coach for all the work and all the memes. We wish you good luck on your future adventures.
XTQZZZ has led G2 Esports since January of this year, when he moved from the Team Vitality camp. Together with the team, the 33-year-old French specialist made it to the top three at Intel Extreme Masters XVI - Katowice, BLAST Premier: Spring Finals 2022 and ESL Pro League Season 16.
Nevertheless, in general, the season for the European team was unsuccessful. At first, the team did not make it to the playoffs of PGL Major Antwerp 2022 and Intel Extreme Masters XVII - Cologne, after which they completely failed at Intel Extreme Masters Road to Rio 2022: European RMR A, being left without a major.
Swani will again have to act as the head coach of G2 Esports. It should be noted that the 27-year-old German was already engaged in similar work at the end of last year, taking third place in the Intel Extreme Masters XVI - Winter.
The next championship for the European team will be BLAST Premier: Fall Finals 2022, which will be held at the end of November. At the same time, it is not known whether the organization will limit itself to some changes in the coaching bridge.
