Dignitas puts up CS:GO roster for transfer
The North American esports organization Dignitas has decided to put its entire CS:GO roster up for transfer. The club will reportedly be rebuilding their roster in order to return to the stage with a new and ambitious five.
All players from the current Dignitas roster are available for transfer from today, as announced on the organization's Twitter page. This step was taken shortly after the Swedish team missed the opportunity to qualify for PGL Major Antwerp 2022 by failing at the RMR tournament.
We want to build a competitive roster, and while we hoped this iteration of the roster could still achieve better results, skipping the current Major means we need to rethink our plans for the future.
As of today, all players are available for transfer while we are exploring various options to create a new roster that could include players who have represented the colors of Dignitas to date. However, we are putting all players on the transfer list to give everyone a fair opportunity to find the right team.
In the coming weeks, we will be evaluating our future in CS:GO in hopes of creating an attractive roster that will compete for titles.
The previous Dignitas roster was formed at the beginning of 2020, with minor changes over the next two seasons. During this time, the Swedish team became the winner of Elisa Invitational Spring 2020, BLAST Nordic Masters: Spring 2021 and BLAST Nordic Masters: Fall 2021, and also got into the top three at Eden Arena: Malta Vibes - Week 6, Funspark ULTI 2021: Europe Season 1, Funspark ULTI 2021: European Playoffs #2 and Pinnacle Cup III.
The Dignitas CS:GO roster looked like this:
- f0rest.
- friberg.
- hallzerk.
- HEAP.
- Lekr0.
- pita (coach).
