valde and niko may leave OG

According to insider neL, the European esports organization OG intends to make changes in its CS:GO roster, parting ways with valde and niko. The reason for the change is weak results, as winter transfers did not help the team achieve their goals. If the changes take place, mantuu will remain the only member of the team gathered around NBK- and Aleksib in December 2019.

valde was part of the original OG roster formed at the end of 2019. In turn, niko joined the team last season, not being useful to Heroic. Together, the Danes became the winners of Spring Sweet Spring #2 and BLAST Premier: Spring Groups 2022, as well as getting into the top three at Intel Extreme Masters XVI - Summer, ESL Pro League Season 14 and BLAST Premier: Fall Showdown 2021.

However, the team's recent failures at PGL Major Antwerp 2022: European RMR A, as a result of which OG did not qualify for the major, put the club's management in a difficult situation.

The nearest tournament for the team is BLAST Premier: Spring Finals 2022, which will be held in mid-June. It is expected that by this time the organization will decide on its future, waiting for the end of the major to fully enter the transfer market.

The probable line-up for OG is as follows:

  • mantuu.
  • flameZ.
  • nexa.
  • ruggah (coach).
  • kakafu (assistant coach).
  • valde (bench).
  • niko (bench).
