Especially it's a little bit a surprise considering how Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 was accepted by the players. At the same time, back in the day Activision announced that Black Ops 6 has had the best release in the entire franchise: during the first three days of release there was a record amount of players in the game. Unfortunately, the things are not going the same with their next instalment.

Usually, Activision are sharing some exciting stats and saying much more good words, but now it's not really exciting. The publisher revealed on X social media a congratulation tweet where they thanks community and developers. They also said that the players "rate the quality and the depth of gameplay so highly". It is also important to say that players actually didn't rate the game so highly as Activision reports. Currently the game has 1.7 point on Metacritic by players though critics rate the game on 77. Most of the negative reviews are saying the game has a lot of AI content that makes the game worse. Plus, let's not forget that Battlefield 6 was released a bit more than month ago and some players this year may choose Battlefield over Call of Duty.
