Silenx joins 100 Thieves as stand-in
100 Thieves has officially announced Silenx as a replacement for nitr0, which is currently on parental leave. Silenx will join the team as a stand-in for the first qualifying event of the VALORANT Champions Tour. The 100 Thieves will compete alongside 127 other teams for a spot in the closed qualifier.
nitr0 has been an important part of the success since the team was formed back in October. Since then, the 100 Thieves have been voted the best team in North America, winning First Strike North America.
Silenx, despite the sufficient experience of playing on the professional stage, has not yet been played for any large team. However, at the end of December last year, the player played for the beastcoast as part of Knights Before Christmas. Note that earlier Silenx played for such groups as Actually Homeless and Overtime.
The roster of 100 Thieves for the upcoming championship is as follows:
- Hiko.
- steel.
- Asuna.
- dicey.
- Silenx (stand-in).
- FrosT (trainer).
