North American team Cloud9 Blue announced xeta as the fifth player, completing the roster formation ahead of the start of the VALORANT Champions Tour 2021. The organization also announced the signing of a sixth player, which will be announced later.

xeta is a former professional CS: GO player who, without gaining fame, decided to move to VALORANT. The South Korean player immediately joined Cloud9 Korea, however, left the team following a rule change. Nevertheless, the player remained in the organization and even played for Cloud9 Blue in the Nerd Street Gamers - Winter Championship.

"It seems unreal. I never thought that I would represent an organization like Cloud9. I already feel comfortable and have a great time training with the guys. See you on the server," the player himself shared his impressions.

These are not the only changes to the Cloud9 Blue lineup. The team also announced a change of head coach - Autumn was replaced by JamezIRL. The South Korean specialist also coached the Cloud9 Korea squad prior to the rule change.

It should be noted that Autumn and xeta are still in South Korea, solving visa issues. However, there is a chance that newcomers will be able to fly to the United States before the start of the VALORANT Champions Tour 2021.

The current roster of Cloud9 Blue is as follows:

  • Relyks.
  • mitch.
  • vice.
  • leaf.
  • Xeta.
  • Autumn (head coach).
  • JamezIRL (assistant coach).
  • Robin (manager).
