Sayaplayer can become a T1 player
According to BLIX.GG, the South Korean esports organization T1 has its eye on Sayaplayer, a former The Guard player. The 24-year-old South Korean is expected to sign a contract and return to his homeland almost a year after leaving the club.
Sayaplayer entered the scene at the end of 2020 as part of T1. However, the 24-year-old esportsman did not gain fame here, as a result of which he accepted the offer of The Guard.
Sayaplayer had much more success last season, winning the Nerd Street Gamers: Winter Championship - Open 14 and VALORANT Champions Tour 2022: North America Stage 1 Challengers. In addition, the 24-year-old South Korean player took second place at the VALORANT Champions Tour 2022: North America Last Chance Qualifier, as well as taking part in the VALORANT Champions Tour 2022: Stage 1 Masters - Reykjavík.
Recall that the T1 organization was among the partners to participate in the VCT 2023 in Asia. The South Korean club will fight in the same League along with ZETA DIVISION, Global Esports, Gen.G Esports, DRX, DetonatioN Gaming, Team Secret, Rex Regum Qeon, Paper Rex and Talon Esports. Note that now T1 will have to return to their home region, and at the same time seriously refresh the roster in favor of the rules from Riot Games.
All rumors suggest that the club will keep xeta, Munchkin and Ban in the starting roster, though the team's future is in limbo. At the same time, the organization does not have much time left to present the interim composition.
Current T1 roster for VALORANT:
- xeta
- Munchkin
- Ban
- Stunner and Autumn (coaching staff)
- exuhz (analyst)
