BARBARR steps down as Guild Esports head coach
BARBARR announced his resignation as the head coach of Guild Esports ' VALORANT roster. The 32-year-old Swedish specialist announced this on his social networks. It is not clear where the experienced coach will continue his career, but he promised to talk about his future in the near future.
At the helm of the European team, BARBARR managed to become the champion of VCT 2021: Europe Stage 1 Challengers 3, and also get into the TOP-3 following the results of VCT 2021: Europe Stage 1 Masters, VCT 2021: Europe Stage 2 Challengers 1, VCT 2021: Europe Stage 3 Challengers 1 and VCT 2022: EMEA Stage 2 Challengers. In addition, the Swede led the team to VCT 2022: Stage 2 Masters - Copenhagen, where Guild Esports took 7th-8th place.
Recall that earlier the British esports organization Guild Esports announced its intention to remain in the VALORANT discipline. Despite the refusal to participate in the affiliate program, the club plans to develop its division through the Challengers series. In addition, Guild Esports will continue to support the women's team, which is currently preparing to play as part of the VCT 2022: Game Changers Championship.
The British club was not included in the final list of partners to participate in the European League for the next season, which included Team Vitality, Karmine Corp, FUT Esports, BBL Esports, Natus Vincere, Fnatic, Team Liquid, KOI, Team Heretics and Giants Gaming.
