Barbarr steps down as coach at Guild Esports
BARBARR announced his resignation as the head coach of Guild Esports ' VALORANT roster. The 32-year-old Swedish specialist announced this on his Twitter. It is worth recalling that BARBARR has been working with the team for the past two seasons.
Thank you Guild Esports for everything, I will bring fantastic memories with me. A big thank you to everyone for believing in the project, especially when the idea came up to rebuild the roster between seasons.
BARBARR took over Guild Esports early last year when he made the decision to leave the CS:GO scene. Over the next two seasons, the 32-year-old Swedish specialist helped the team win VALORANT Champions Tour 2021: Europe Stage 1 Challengers 3, as well as get into the TOP-3 at the end of VALORANT Champions Tour 2021: Europe Stage 1 Masters, VALORANT Champions Tour 2021: Europe Stage 2 Challengers 1 and VALORANT Champions Tour 2021: EMEA Last Chance Qualifier.
However, the British organization was not included in the final list of partners for participation in the European League for the next season. In turn, the team showed crumpled results, taking part in the Masters in Copenhagen.
List of partner organizations for the European League: Team Vitality, Karmine Corp, FUT Esports, BBL Esports, Natus Vincere, Fnatic, Team Liquid, KOI, Team Heretics and Giants Gaming.
It is expected that in the near future many Guild Esports players will announce their departure from the team. The day before, trexx and Sayf made a similar statement.
