LEC 2023 final to be held in Montpellier

According to independent journalist Brie Siguer, the 2023 League of Legends (LEC) European Championship final will be held in Montpellier, France. With the new format for the new year, with the LEC split into three parts, the final event will crown the European champion for the entire season, not just one split.

Earlier, information appeared on the network that Mid-Season Invitational 2023 will be held in London, while Worlds 2023 will be held in South Korea.

Montpellier, located in the south of France, has already hosted a host of esports events, so it's no surprise that it has become home to the LEC. At the same time, information recently appeared that the city will host one of the CS:GO BLAST series tournaments.

Riot Games has not yet confirmed the information that has appeared. In turn, the French portal aAa reported similar information a few days ago, but then indicated that Montpellier would only host the semi-finals of the championship.
