League of Legends 2 Rumored for 2026 Release, According to Deleted Insider Post
A new rumor has sparked excitement across the League of Legends community. Chinese insider Summoner Park claimed on Weibo that League of Legends 2 could be released in the second half of 2026. Although the post was quickly deleted, screenshots have already circulated online, fueling speculation among fans.

According to the alleged leak, the sequel will preserve the core gameplay that made LoL a global success but will introduce a complete technical redesign. The game is said to be running on a new engine, with overhauled graphics, rewritten code, and a rebalanced roster of champions. Abilities will reportedly be refined for smoother controls and more fluid combat, giving the classic MOBA a modern touch.
Additionally, Riot Games is rumored to be focusing heavily on performance optimization and visual enhancements to bring League of Legends in line with contemporary standards.
At this point, however, no official confirmation has been made. Until Riot comments on the matter, fans are advised to take these reports with a grain of salt.
