G2 Esports said goodbye to their support Targamas
The European esports organization G2 Esports has announced another change in its League of Legends roster, saying goodbye to support Targamas. The 22-year-old Belgian esportsman has been playing for the team for the last year, showing a good game for an LEC debutant.
Today we say goodbye to the real puppeteer and mastermind of Targamas. Thank you for an absolutely awesome year, good luck drowning your enemies in your championship ocean.
Targamas moved to G2 Esports last December from Karmine Corp. Together with the team, the 22-year-old Belgian support became the winner of the LEC Spring 2022, and also made it to the top three at the Mid-Season Invitational 2022 and LEC Summer 2022.
However, at the 2022 World Championship, the team failed to reach the playoffs, showing a disappointing game in the group stage. As a result, G2 Esports suffered five losses out of six, taking the final 11-14th place.
Couldn't have hoped for a better first year in the LEC. Thanks for everything,” Targamas wrote.
This is not the first change in the composition of the "samurai" - earlier the organization said goodbye to Jankos and Flakked, who joined the Team Heretics structure. Now the club will have to seriously work on the transfer market in order to return stronger for the next competitive season.
