Ubisoft Ships New Mirage Update Focused On Stability And Progression Fixes

Ubisoft has released Title Update 1.1.1 for Assassin’s Creed: Mirage, a maintenance patch aimed at correcting progression errors, stability issues, and several long-standing gameplay inconsistencies. The update follows reports of difficulty resets tied to Permadeath saves and a series of mission replay crashes linked to the Animus Sequence menu. With this release, loading an older Permadeath save will no longer revert difficulty to Apprentice, resolving a problem that undermined higher-difficulty runs. The patch also expands access to upgrade schematics, allowing all players to purchase plans for Nimlot’s Sword and the Abis Dagger without restriction. Items tied to progression systems, including Stolen Goods and Oud Melodies, now persist correctly when starting New Game+.

The update addresses multiple movement and interface problems, particularly those affecting parkour and control prompts. A bug preventing diagonal wall-runs when jumping from beams has been fixed, restoring intended traversal flow in dense environments. Ubisoft also corrected a misleading control prompt so that Free Jump confirmations no longer display “Hold” when the Popup option is selected. New Codex entries have been added for AlUla, while travel between Baghdad and AlUla will no longer drain tool supplies. Tutorials that previously triggered during Animus Sequences have been disabled, and several missions had premature unlock conditions corrected to ensure proper narrative order during replays.

Stability improvements form a large part of the update, especially for players revisiting missions. Crashes tied to replaying missions through the Animus menu have been resolved, along with a freeze that could occur when restarting the same mission from a recap screen. PC players receive targeted fixes addressing Intel XeSS Frame Generation, HDR conflicts on Intel Arc GPUs, and revised default Parry key bindings for mouse and keyboard. Visual adjustments include HDR improvements, corrected dye colors, and the removal of stray visual artifacts in desert regions. On PlayStation 5 Pro, Basim’s hair behavior during camera rotation has been adjusted in a specific late-game quest. According to Ubisoft, the update weighs in at 4.25GB on PC and will download automatically through Steam and Ubisoft Connect.
