Ratchet & Clank: Ranger Rumble Expands Mobile Soft Launch to Europe

PlayStation Mobile Inc. has expanded the soft launch of its new multiplayer arena shooter Ratchet & Clank: Ranger Rumble to additional regions on Android and iOS. Following its earlier release in Indonesia and the Philippines, the game is now available to players in France, Norway, Denmark, Sweden, and Finland. Global pre-registration for the title has also opened.

Developed by Oh Bibi, the studio behind BEAST: Bio Exo Arena Suit Team, the game brings the iconic Ratchet & Clank universe to mobile in a competitive multiplayer format.

Fast-Paced PvP Battles With Iconic Characters

Ratchet & Clank: Ranger Rumble is a real-time multiplayer arena shooter that allows players to compete in PvP platform battles, either solo or alongside friends and online teammates.

The game follows a new storyline in which players take on the role of a Galactic Ranger, battling across dynamic arenas inspired by locations from the Ratchet & Clank universe. Familiar environments such as Megalopolis and Torren IV make appearances, giving longtime fans recognizable settings to explore.

Movement is a major part of the gameplay, with mechanics that include dashing, double jumping, rail sliding, and wall-running, allowing players to move quickly across the vibrant arenas.

Weapons, Heroes, and Competitive Modes

Combat features a wide range of creative weapons, with more than 20 different options available. Some of these include unusual and over-the-top tools like the Discozigzag and the Apocalypse Gauntlet, staying true to the series’ playful style.

Players can also recruit and upgrade 10 different heroes, including the well-known Lombax, each equipped with unique abilities and powerful ultimate skills. Some of these abilities can dramatically alter battles, even turning enemies into sheep.

The game includes several competitive features such as leaderboards, seasonal content, customization options, and multiple game modes, including an intense six-player competitive mode.

Ratchet & Clank: Ranger Rumble is currently available on Android and iOS in France, Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Indonesia, and the Philippines.

Players in these regions can download the game through the Google Play Store or App Store, while players in other parts of the world can pre-register through the official website ahead of the global launch.
