Since its launch in late October, ARC Raiders has received a steady stream of patches aimed at improving gameplay stability and refining the player experience. While the community is eagerly awaiting the upcoming Flashpoint content update scheduled for later this month, this hotfix focuses primarily on technical improvements and smaller additions.

Ongoing Support and Future Plans

Earlier this year, Embark Studios unveiled a 2026 roadmap outlining the studio’s commitment to consistent monthly updates. So far, the developers have followed through on that promise, releasing major updates regularly, with another major patch expected soon.

The roadmap currently details content plans through April, including the highly anticipated Riven Tides update. Beyond that point, the studio has yet to reveal what comes next for the game. However, Embark previously confirmed that it intends to support ARC Raiders for at least ten years, suggesting that long-term expansions and updates are already being considered.

The next major milestone will be the Flashpoint update, which is expected to introduce new gameplay elements, threats, and progression systems.

Key Fixes in Update 1.19.0

Following February’s Shrouded Skyupdate, the new patch focuses heavily on resolving gameplay issues that have been affecting players across multiple platforms. The update is now available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.

One of the most notable fixes addresses an exploit at Blue Gate, where players were able to use a Zipline to travel outside the intended map boundaries. The patch also resolves a bug that allowed players to place their Snaphook into their Safe Pocket while actively using it, which created unintended advantages.

Several additional issues related to inventory management and environmental interactions have also been corrected. For example, the developers fixed incorrect item sell values appearing in the inventory when mods were attached and addressed cases where the same item appeared multiple times in the sell or recycle interface. Problems with incorrect Coin balances after selling items with durability have also been resolved.

The patch further improves map stability by fixing situations where players or ARC enemies could become stuck in a doorway at the Auditorium on Stella Montis. Another correction removes duplicate interaction prompts that appeared when using the Comet object. Environmental issues were also addressed, including cases where water surfaces on Dam Battlegrounds were not freezing properly during the Cold Snap map condition.

Lighting during the Electromagnetic Storm condition has also been adjusted, reducing the frequency of intense flashes that previously appeared too often.

New Cosmetics Added to the Store

Although the patch does not introduce new gameplay content, it does expand the cosmetic offerings available to players.

The update adds the Devotee Outfit Set, along with two new hairstyles that players can purchase. These cosmetics join the recently expanded character customization options introduced during the Shrouded Sky update, which added facial hair to the game’s Raider Deck progression system.

Embark has also begun expanding those cosmetic options further, recently adding a purchasable mustache cosmetic for 500 Raider Tokens as well as the Curly Mullet hairstyle, which also costs 500 tokens.

Server Issues and Player Compensation

The patch notes also address a major server disruption that occurred last week. During the outage, some players reportedly lost their equipment kits even after successfully extracting from missions.

Although Embark typically does not provide compensation for individual technical issues, the studio acknowledged that this outage affected a large number of players. As a result, the developers confirmed that they will review affected accounts and restore lost items where possible over the coming days.

This decision represents a rare exception to the studio’s usual policy regarding technical incidents.

What’s Coming Next: Flashpoint Update

Looking ahead, the Flashpoint update is expected to arrive later this month. While an exact release date has not yet been confirmed, previous updates suggest that the patch could launch near the final Tuesday of the month, following Embark’s recent release pattern.

According to the official roadmap, Flashpoint will introduce several new gameplay elements, including:

  • A new ARC threat
  • An additional map condition
  • A new Player Project
  • Updates to the Scrappy system

These additions will represent the next major step in ARC Raiders’ evolving seasonal content strategy.
