Brawl Stars December 2025 Brawl Talk: Everything You Need to Know
Brawl Stars has officially unveiled its December 2025 Brawl Talk, following the October update that introduced the Stranger Things collaboration. This latest update delivers a massive wave of new content, including two new Brawlers, a brand-new Buffies system, a Brawl Pass overhaul, fresh game modes, Hypercharges, and a wide range of new skins. Below is a complete breakdown of everything revealed.
New Brawlers
Pierce (Legendary)

Pierce is the newest Legendary Brawler and the final member of the Velocirapids trio, as well as the first Brawler from the new Sea Monsters Aquarium environment.
His defining mechanic revolves around ammo shells. Every successful main attack drops a shell, and Pierce can only reload by either picking up these shells or completely emptying his ammo. Picking up a shell automatically triggers a free instant shot toward the nearest enemy, which can also pierce through obstacles. Additionally, the final remaining bullet in his gun deals increased damage.
Pierce’s Super allows targeting an area to mark enemies, causing follow-up shots to home in on them. Each hit drops more shells, enabling extended attack chains. His Gadgets and Star Powers introduce effects such as enemy slowdowns and damage absorption, adding depth to his playstyle. Since Pierce is the first Legendary Brawler released after the introduction of the Brawler Release Event, further adjustments may follow.
Glowbert

Arriving in January 2026, Glowbert is a marine biologist working at Starr Park’s aquarium. He fills a healer-type role with a flexible kit.
Glowbert’s main attack, the Glowbeam, can either continuously heal teammates or deal sustained damage to enemies, as long as the beam remains connected. His Super reveals his face to frighten enemies while dealing damage in the process. Through his Gadgets and Star Powers, Glowbert enhances team survivability and provides strong utility in tight situations.
Buffies: A New Permanent Power System

Buffies are a brand-new permanent upgrade system designed to enhance Gadgets, Star Powers, and Hypercharges. Each Brawler can equip up to three Buffies, each providing unique benefits.
There are three types of Buffies:
- Gadget Buffies
- Star Buffies
- Hyper Buffies
Buffies can be obtained through the Claw Machine, and they persist across matches, making them visible for both allies and opponents during battles.
Brawler Reworks

Previously announced in November, every Brawler receiving a Buffie is also getting kit adjustments and ability reworks. This revision aims to improve abilities that are currently underperforming.
Initially, Buffies are being rolled out to six Brawlers:
- Shelly
- Colt
- Spike
- Emz
- Frank
- Mortis
The development team has confirmed plans to expand Buffies to all Brawlers over time.
Brawl Pass Rework
The long-awaited Brawl Pass update has finally arrived. While the overall price has increased, the value of the Pass has been significantly boosted.
- Standard Pass: $8.99
- Pass Plus: $12.99
The Vault System
The biggest addition to the Brawl Pass is the Vault, which introduces Vault Keys. Each month, players can earn four keys, similar to Magic Potions in MLBB’s Starlight system. Each key unlocks a different Vault section:
- Resource Keys: Coins, Power Points, or Bling
- Brawler Keys: Unlock Brawlers (key cost depends on rarity)
- Skin Keys: Unlock new or previous Brawl Pass skins
- Buffie Keys: Unlock Buffies
The Free Pass has also been improved, now featuring ten additional reward milestones.
Chaos Drops

A new Starr Drop variant called Chaos Drops has been introduced. These are the most powerful Starr Drops yet, with rarities ranging from Super Rare up to Ultra Starr Drop.
Chaos Drops can split up to eight times, while retaining their rarity. This means a single drop can potentially generate multiple Ultra Legendary rewards, including:
- Hypercharges
- Mythic, Legendary, and Ultra Legendary Brawlers
- Epic, Mythic, and Hypercharged skins
- Buffies
Hypercharge Update
- Gigi – Pas De Deux Hypercharge: Gigi now deals increased damage both upon landing and when exiting her Super, rather than only on departure.
New Game Modes
Safe Blast

Players must collect and deliver bombs to destroy the enemy base.
Lovebombing

A 2v2 Wipeout-style mode with a twist: all main attacks can stun enemies, and the Lovebomb can instantly eliminate opponents.
Two Player Bosses

A cooperative mode where players team up with friends to battle powerful bosses together.
