New Star Wars Racing Game Announced at The Game Awards 2025

Just before The Game Awards, a report from insider claimed new Star Wars game that ends with a word Racer should be announced soon, and we’ve got this announcement during the ceremony.

Fuse Games, a team of Burnout and Need for Speed former developers, have presented a debut trailer for Star Wars Galactic Racer – new game that will be released in 2026 for PC, Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5. It’s not only Star Wars game announced at TGA – earlier at the show Star Wars: The Fate of the Old Republic was revealed with a trailer announcement. The official description says Star Wars Galactic Racer is a “runs-based, high-stakes reinvention of racing born in the lawless Outer Rim of the Star Wars galaxy.” The game is also confirmed to have a story mode; main character named Shade is described as “a lone racer with a dream of glory and revenge”.
