Two New Tomb Raider Games Confirmed at The Game Awards 2025

Just a few hours before The Game Awards 2025, two Tomb Raiders games have been leaked online. And while it was initially confirmed new Lara Croft game will be presented at the show, we’ve received an official confirmation of the future Tomb Raider project – and that’s really exciting.

During The Game Awards was revealed, two new Tomb Raider games are in development. First one – Tomb Raider: Catalyst, a continuation of the main series, developed by Crystal Dynamics. As was previously rumored, new game will be set in India and will introduce the biggest open world in the history of the franchise. The game will be released in 2027 and the debut trailer you can see below:

Another Lara Croft title that was revealed at TGA 2025 – the remake of Tomb Raider (1996) called Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis, also developed by Crystal Dynamics. It’s a completely new and fresh look to the classics with enhances graphics and new gameplay mechanics. The players will be able to play for Lara and fight with dinosaurs next year.
