New Lara Croft Game is Officially Confirmed for The Game Awards 2025

The rumors are finally being confirmed – because new Lara Croft game is officially to be revealed soon, as confirmed by The Game Awards host, Geoff Keighley.

On his recent post at social media X, Keighley confirms that “Lara Croft returns at The Game Awards”. The confirmation comes from The Game Awards vote in Fortnite map portal, as you can see below:

There are two options which Lara Croft game could it be, because there is different information from different insiders. Last month, insider V Scooper revealed a new Tomb Raider set in India is in active development and has been reworked massive since initial development has started. This game will include a massive open world and likely to be a continuation for Shadow of the Tomb Raider, released back in 2018. However, he didn’t mention anything about possible announcement or release date.

On the other hand, yesterday, another well-known gaming insider RaidersSociety posted that Tomb Raider (1996) remake will officially be introduced during The Game Awards 2025 and will have both improved graphics and new gameplay mechanics.

It too early to predict which exactly game about Lara Croft will be revealed at TGA 2025 but it’s very likely to be one of titles we mention above. Surely, the fans would love to see both games to be confirmed and we don’t need to rule out this opportunity.
