Baldur and Thor Actors in God of War TV Series Reportedly Revealed

It’s been revealed that God of War TV series, developed for Amazon Prime Video, received its director; Frederick E.O. Toye, who previously directed Shogun, will serve as the director of the first two show’s episodes. Moreover, God of War series is already confirmed to receive a second season despite production hasn’t even started.

We have another update on God of War series because well-known industry insider Daniel Richtman reports the show has found actors for the roles of Baldur and Thor: Max Parker (Boots, Vampire Academy) will play Baldur, the main antagonist from God of War (2018) video game while Olafur Darri Olafsson (Severance, Monster High, Trapped) is set to play Thor from God of War: Ragnarok.

It’s interesting that we discovered who will play villain roles before the announcement of Kratos and Atreus roles; however, considering that casting is underway, it’s now a question of time. Also, as was confirmed by recent report that God of War TV series will have two seasons, it’s pretty likely that season 1 will adapt God of War (2018) event while second season will tell the story of God of War: Ragnarok.
