Iconic Modes Make Their Return

Fans won’t have to wait much longer, as Crossfire: Legends is finally making its comeback—though for now, only in the SEA region. It feels like a true revival of the beloved title, originally released in 2018 before being discontinued. This time, the project is co-developed with Tencent Games, which gives the relaunch even more potential.

Players can dive back into classic modes such as the tactical 5v5 Search and Destroy, the fast-paced Team Deathmatch, and the ever-chaotic Hero Mode. It’s easy to imagine the fun of sprinting across maps as Fox Howl or Sicaros, switching between fan-favorite weapons like the AK47-Beast or the AWM-Infernal Dragon.

What to Expect at Launch

The SEA release brings back the popular Mutation Mode, supported by smoother controls and improved visual quality. The excitement around the game feels well-earned, though many players—myself included—are hoping for a global launch sometime in early 2026. With CODM and Bloodstrike not fully filling the gap, this successor to Crossfire Mobile shows real promise.

Crossfire: Legends launches December 16 in Thailand, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Singapore. Pre-registration is now available on both the Google Play Store and App Store. Stay tuned for updates on a worldwide release!
