WoW players say patch 11.2 is full of weird bugs

The new World of Warcraft patch 11.2, Ghosts of K’aresh, is packed with content, new zones, quests, a raid, and more, but also some of the weirdest bugs players have seen in a while. Some players are finding their in-game banks suddenly switching languages, while others are getting stuck in broken questlines or being kicked from the game entirely. The patch just dropped, and the bugs are piling up.

One of the strangest bugs right now is turning some players’ bank tabs into German. It’s happening to English-language clients, not just those on EU servers. The rest of the UI remains in English, but the bank tabs themselves are showing German labels. Other players have said their tabs are in French or other languages, creating what looks like a random language swap. One German player says their tabs are now in French, while someone playing from Poland on an English client reported having French labels, and their wife’s game was showing German. It doesn’t seem to break anything, but it’s confusing.

That’s just one of the many issues showing up across the player base. Some quests in K’aresh aren’t completing properly or are disappearing from the quest log without warning. Interactive objects sometimes don’t work unless you completely reload the game. Players are reporting frequent disconnects, and a few can’t even log in at all.

Another weird bug has shown up involving the Darkmoon Faire. One player reported being charged 500,000 gold just to enter, which is far above any known price in the game. There’s also a possible bug (or maybe a mod glitch) where someone’s bags now hold 98 items each—more than any official bag size currently available.

All of this makes it hard to tell whether patch 11.2 is more buggy than usual or if it just feels that way because so many people are logging in all at once. New patches always come with some hiccups, especially ones this big, and most of these issues will probably get resolved in a few days. Blizzard usually pushes hotfixes fast or includes them in the next Tuesday reset.

Until then, expect things to be a little off while exploring K’aresh. And if you need to sort your inventory in Warcraft, it might help to know some German.
