Yet Another Actor Confirmed to Appear in GTA 6

Rockstar Games has not yet made an official announcement regarding the cast of GTA 6, the studio’s next project and the most anticipated game of the year. However, several actors have previously confirmed their involvement in the project, and during a recent interview, another actor appeared to confirm long-standing rumors about one of the game’s lead roles.

This is about Stephen Root, who has long been rumored to be the actor playing Brian Heder in GTA 6. In a recent interview with AP News, the Emmy-nominated actor confirmed he will appear in Grand Theft Auto VI—though he did not reveal which character he is playing. Nevertheless, given previous rumors and the obvious resemblance to Brian Heder, there’s no room for doubt here.

As noted, Rockstar has not yet revealed the cast of GTA 6, but last month, following the gameplay premiere on Netflix, Manni L. Perez officially revealed on her Instagram she provided the physical appearance and voice for Lucia—one of the game’s two protagonists. Who will play her partner, Jason, remains unknown, but rumors have pointed to Dylan Rourke. Meanwhile, Jim Santangeli, who voiced Simon Pearson in Red Dead Redemption 2, also revealed he has a small role in GTA 6.
