Red Dead Redemption 2 Actor Confirms He Will Be In GTA 6

There is reportedly just over a week left before the official reveal of new GTA 6 content, as the CEO of Take-Two Interactive previously hinted that the marketing campaign for the most anticipated game of 2026 will kick off on June 21. In any case, we will most likely get a fresh look at GTA 6 this month, which will very likely be accompanied by a new trailer.

But until that happens, fans continue to find reasons to discuss GTA 6, even managing to do so in places where it seemingly has no connection to the game. However, a recent statement from an actor known for another Rockstar Games project—Red Dead Redemption 2—is directly related.

Reddit users discovered that during a TikTok livestream, Jim Santangeli, who plays Simon Pearson in Red Dead Redemption 2, confirmed that he has a role in GTA 6, although it is a minor one. Pearson is a cook in the Van der Linde gang's camp and later becomes a food vendor in Rhodes. It's entirely possible that in GTA 6 he will lend his voice to a vendor at some establishment in Vice City, but that remains purely speculation.

So I joined his tiktok live randomly and as I joined it he was talking his GTAVI small role he’s worked on. Interested, I asked a message for him to clarify it and this is what I got back. I wasn’t able to clip the previous footage but what I recall was.

“I’ve done some cool stuff in GTAVI but small”

This isn’t some big news but just thought this was a cool find. Obviously he could be joking but he seemed pretty sincere in both of his statements and he only had 150 viewers.

Essentially, Jim Santangeli is the first confirmed actor involved in GTA 6, as Rockstar Games has yet to announce who will voice the main characters—Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos—not to mention the supporting cast. Rumor has it that Lucia will be voiced by Manni L. Perez and Jason by Dylan Rourke. Additionally, there have been reports that actors like Oscar Jaenada (as Raul Bautista), Bobby Moynihan (as Cal Hampton), and Stephen Root (as Brian Heder) are also involved in the project.

Recently, Rockstar also updated their Discord account by creating a dedicated channel for GTA 6. This could indicate that the studio is preparing to share news about the game and plans to post updates there.
