Rockstar Games Might Be Teasing GTA 6 News Coming Soon with Latest Discord Update

Speculations continue about the possible imminent release of a new GTA 6 trailer or the disclosure of any other details. And while Rockstar Games usually do not comment on or announce anything in advance, a recent discovery by one of the users has caused some interest.

As discovered by one of the X users, Rockstar Games has made some changes to their Discord channel, and these changes are directly related to GTA 6. The thing is, the game now has a separate channel, and this could be a teaser that the studio is actively preparing to reveal new materials and will be promoting them very soon.

Rockstar has made an official public GTA VI-related change today. The studio moved the 'grand-theft-auto-vi' channel on its Discord server into a newly created category titled 'Grand Theft Auto VI'. Before the update, the channel was grouped under the broader 'Rockstar Games' category. While small, it is the first official GTA VI-related action Rockstar has taken publicly since announcing the game's delay to November.

As is known, the official GTA 6 marketing campaign will start this summer, and earlier the CEO of Take-Two Interactive teased that Rockstar Games may begin releasing new materials about the game starting June 21—including a new trailer and the announcement of pre-orders. However, so far the studio has not shown any activity, even amid major gaming shows such as Summer Game Fest and Xbox Games Showcase, which will take place this week.
