Pearl Abyss Released New Update for Crimson Desert, Patch Notes Version 2.02.00

Pearl Abyss has released another free update for Crimson Desert—Patch Notes Version 2.02.00. Like several previous updates, this latest patch primarily includes various fixes related to the RPG’s gameplay, as well as adding cross-save support for yet another platform.

Most of the fixes listed in the Patch Notes Version 2.02.00 of Crimson Desert relate to controls, the user interface, and graphics; in terms of gameplay, they remove bugs related to NPCs and the inventory. As for new features, Mac users now have cross-save support. The full list of fixes in the Patch Notes Version 2.02.00 of Crimson Desert is available below:

  • Added the Cross-save feature.
  • Fixed an issue where shining a lantern on an NPC would not make their belongings visible.
  • Fixed an issue where housing would not become available when raising the banner at Howling Hill Camp while the inventory was full.
  • Fixed an issue where Thornbriar Fortress could not be liberated.
  • Fixed an issue where some items would disappear from the Trade Goods Storage when loading certain save files.
  • Fixed an issue where the letter would disappear during "The Words of Alustin" in certain situations, preventing quest progression.
  • Fixed an issue where chaining "Descending Force Palm" after "Aerial Force Palm" did not function properly in certain situations.
  • Fixed an issue where UI text would appear to shake in certain situations.
  • Fixed an issue where the game would crash when starting a new game with DLSS Frame Generation enabled.
  • Fixed various localization errors and improved localization quality across all languages.
  • Fixed an issue where certain Arabic text would not display correctly.
  • Fixed an issue where visual noise on armor was particularly noticeable indoors.
  • Fixed an issue where Kliff's appeared unnatural when wearing the Crow Cloth Blindfold with certain settings enabled.

Last week, as part of State of Play, Pearl Abyss also unveiled a DLC for Crimson Desert titled Charting the Unknown. It will be released on October 15 and will offer players several new features at once—a new territory, the ability to explore on the water and underwater, as well as the construction of various large structures and the possibility of forming romantic relationships.
