Football Club Champions 2026 Ver. 1.2 Update Adds New Events, Rewards System, and Major QoL Improvements

SEGA has rolled out the Ver. 1.2 update for Football Club Champions 2026, introducing new events, gameplay features, and a range of quality-of-life improvements designed to enhance the overall experience.

One of the highlights is the newly added Dice Event, where players complete missions to earn dice and progress across a reward board. Certain tiles trigger the Kick the Target minigame, offering a chance to earn valuable items such as Prime Scouting Tickets and Training Cards. Multipliers can be applied depending on the dice used, with rewards reaching up to 100 tickets per round—though attempts are limited to three.

Squad management has also been streamlined with the introduction of Squad Tags, allowing players to organize teams based on tactics or specific use cases. Another major addition is the Selectable Rewards system, giving players more control by letting them choose between different reward options, including specific players, scouting tickets, or training items.

A long-requested feature has finally been implemented as well: players can now skip the end-of-season award ceremony via a settings toggle, reducing downtime between seasons.

The update also improves scouting functionality. Players can now filter and search by playstyle levels—such as Attacker II or Dribbler III—making it easier to find the right fit for their squad.

Beyond that, Ver. 1.2 introduces a new assistant, Shion Hori, adds derby matches for custom clubs, and delivers multiple UI improvements and bug fixes. Completed tutorial missions will no longer clutter the interface, while overall menu navigation has been refined.

Additional tweaks include better-timed mission notifications, smoother squad confirmation screens, and clear indicators for already unlocked skills during training—making progression and team management more intuitive than before.
