Astralis launches media company Blackbox Media
Danish esports organization Astralis has announced the founding of media company Blackbox Media with Keld Reinicke and Henrik Juul. The new project is focused on helping brands reach an audience that is on the move. In particular, the company will deal with marketing, production and branding services for customers.
Anders Hersholt, CEO of Astralis and Chairman of the Board of Blackbox Media: "In order to strengthen our common business and position among a wide, vast and growing gaming audience, we are now launching a new modern media company with some of the most experienced and creative minds in media and advertising industry. Blackbox Media will become a unique and independent player in the media industry, providing Astralis with a much broader palette of media to work with and new opportunities than our existing and future commercial partners."
The company will be led by executives from the Astralis organization, with Astralis founder Jakob Lund Christensen serving as co-founder and CEO. The current CEO of Astralis, Anders Hersholt, has taken on the role of Chairman of the Board of the new company.

Blackbox Media did not share any details regarding future concepts and clients. The Danish esports organization currently has partnerships with a range of companies including hummel, Shikenso Analytics, Esportal, Stimorol, HP OMEN, Garmin, BOYU Sports and BOB Sports.
