Th0masHD leaves Astralis' Fortnite roster
Danish esports organization Astralis has announced changes to its Fortnite roster, parting ways with Th0masHD. The 20-year-old Dane has represented the club's colors for the past year, but his contract is now coming to an end.
As Th0masHD's contract expires, today we say thank you and wish good luck to Th0masHD, who was instrumental in our announcement when we entered Fortnite. Th0masHD has been a vital part of Astralis in Fortnite and we thank him for all his efforts and how he represented us in-game and off-server. We wish Th0mas good luck and he will always be part of the Astralis family.
Th0masHD joined Astralis last November, having moved from Gamma Gaming. During this time, the 20-year-old Dane brought the club victories in C3S2: Solo Cash Cup - Week 1: Europe, C3S2: Duos Cash Cup - Week 6: Europe, C3S3: Duos Cash Cup - Week 1: Europe and C3S3: Duos Cash Cup - Week 5: Europe, and also got into the TOP-3 according to the results of FNCS: 2021 Grand Royale - EU, C3S1: FNCS - Grand Finals: Europe, C3S2: FNCS - Grand Finals: Europe, DreamHack Summer 2022: Zero Build - Final and C3S4: Elite Cup Finals - Week 1: Europe.
The last championship for a player in an Astralis jersey was the recent DreamHack Winter 2022 - Final, according to which Th0masHD took sixth place.
Note that from this moment on, there is not a single esports player in the Danish club, which casts doubt on the future prospects of Astralis in the Fortnite discipline. In turn, Th0masHD announced his intention to find a new organization to represent next year.
