Dota 2 Champions League Season 11Event InfoVisitThe last quarter-final match in the lower bracket has come to an end. CIS Rejects and X3 fought in it. The meeting was tense for both participants of the meeting, and therefore very interesting, if we talk about the first map.
There, CIS Rejects made their main bet on Chaos Knight, which we have seen quite often lately and Storm Spirit. Munkushi~, a CIS Rejects carry showed great results on Chaos Knight and didn't die even once in the whole game. He finished the map with a 14-0-11 record. As for the midlaner, the dipressed kid had slightly less good stats, but brought a lot of impact to the game. He took Storm Spirit and finished the map with a score of 12-3-8. Their opponents also showed an excellent game. Carries and mid laner X3 picked up Juggernaut and Keeper of the Light and ended the game with 10-5-5 and 11-4-6 stats respectively. It is noteworthy that X3 had, albeit small, but still an advantage in the first half hour of the match. Later, CIS Rejects seized the initiative, and on the 43rd minute the title of the favorite again passed to the players from X3. Nevertheless, CIS Rejects were able to actively push their opponents in 10 minutes and ended the first map with a victory for themselves.
On the second map, the game went in a completely different scenario. If in the first we could observe a long fight on equal terms, then in the second CIS Rejects immediately took the game into their own hands. Now the team's carry was more of an auxiliary character, while the mid-laner, playing for Puck, created real chaos for his rivals. He had 18 kills with 2 deaths and 5 assists, while his teammate, who played Monkey King, ended the game with a score of 6-0-14. From the very beginning, the game was in favor of CIS Rejects, and from 17 to 29 minutes the team was rapidly gaining an advantage, after which they broke the throne and won.
Thanks to the fact that X3 still managed to reach the playoffs and thus secured a place in the top 12 and placed 9th-12th, the team took part in the division of the prize fund and received their consolatory $500. CIS Rejects, in turn, have already made it to the top 8 and will receive at least $1,250. In the next round of the lower bracket, they will have to fight with HF, who, by the way, received a technical victory in the last round. Their opponents, represented by cyxariki, decided to withdraw from the match and the tournament.
Previously, Yet Another Team beat KBU.US 2-1, and One Move defeated 11Monkeyz with a similar result.
