D2CL season 8 announced

While the playoffs are in full swing at Dota 2 Champions League Season 7, and 4 teams are left in the tournament, the organizers of the Champions League event series are not sitting idly by. Epic Esports Events have announced Season 8 of the Dota 2 Champions League.

So far, the teams that will take part in the group stage have been presented. There are ten such teams.

The ten invited teams will be joined by 2 teams from the open qualifiers. It is noteworthy that the list of participants includes Lilgun, who play in Southeast Asia.

Later, the tournament organizers will announce the list of teams that will go directly to the playoffs. Most likely there will be 4 of them, just like in the 7th season of Dota 2 Champions League.

Dota 2 Champions League Season 8 will run from February 21 to March 13. $50,000 will be up for grabs at the tournament.
